About Omayra Caban
I'm a singer/songwriter born and raised in Florida. Embracing my Puerto Rican roots, I have been able to reach both American and Latin cultures with my bilingual songs. I like to combine acoustic/organic with modern sounds. My hope is to reach people where they’re at and inspire them to desire more out of life on mission with Jesus.
Some of my music highlights include:
— Having my song, "Let Justice Roll," used in an anti-human trafficking campaign for the organization, Love Justice International.
—Winning the Mike Morse Law Firm Jingle Contest in 2022.
—Translated the chorus of my song “Take Me to New Heights” into 10 different languages, which became the foundation for a unique music video project filmed across 11 countries during an 11-month global mission trip.
I've had the privilege of writing music alongside Ross King, the songwriter behind “Things That I’m Afraid Of” and “Clear the Stage,” and was honored to feature him on my song “Altogether Good,” which we also wrote together. My collaborations also include working with Sam Hart of Sam Hart Music—named “Songwriter of the Year” by ChristianSongwriting.com—and Obed “El Arquitecto,” a respected Spanish Christian urban music producer.
My music has been played on various local and international radio stations, including Air1’s Spanish online station Música de Adoración, reaching listeners around the world.
